On Wednesday and Saturday nights during the summer the sky above Chicago's Navy Pier sparkles and crackles with fireworks. Tonight I ventured close to the pier to take some photos. While not your classic shot of a colorful explosion, here's an image from tonight's show.

night photos are difficult to take unless you have a tripod but i like the colors and lights in a moving pattern - very nice abstract photo!
