Big John
Today's local papers report that The John Hancock Center is for sale. The building is one half of the bookends that showcase Chicago's skyline (the other being the Sears Tower). Finished in 1969, it's no longer the tallest building in the world (now #12) but "Big John" has 100 stories of mixed-use space (retail/business/residential) and is 1,127 feet tall. With condos on the upper 49 floors -they are still the highest residences in the world!

Anne: Not sure there's an asking price yet but the current owner paid $220 million for the building 8 years ago. Would you care to make an offer...?
Good shot - like the effect. Will they take a couple of hundred pounds as a downpayment...?

HI nancee - hope ur having a sunshine fun filled sunday - that is imporessive details on this tallll building - I'm surprised the whole building is for sale - it must be very $$$ I cant imagine the price with all the office space potential and in a great city where Oprah lives =)
