Big John's partner

Last week I featured a photo of the John Hancock Center. I mentioned that it bookended Chicago's skyline along with the Sears Tower. Well here's the Sears Tower. 110 storeys/1450 feet high - you can see 40-50 miles on a clear day...Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Wisconsin. The Sears Tower held the record for the world's tallest building for 25 years until the Petronas Tower in Kuala Lampur, Malaysia built in 1998. In the fall of 2005 Taipei 101 took all but one title - tallest to the tips of the antennas - which the Sears Tower still owns.
